And so it begins.

Another year, another festival season. Can’t you just feel it in the air?

It all started a few months ago…we saw those pink posters pasted upon the walls, the guide began to hit the doorsteps of our favourite city establishments, the box office took up residence in Rundle Mall and most exciting of all, the fence was erected around the fairylit wonderland which is the Garden of Unearthly Delights

It’s Fringe time baby. Strap yourself in.

Say goodbye to your liver, drain your bank account and dust off your dancing shoes.

Let’s get weird.

You’ve just knocked off work or you’re just finishing up dinner, what’s next? When you’re looking for a night out in Adelaide, the conversation of east end versus west end will inevitably pop up at some point. Do you stay one end of town? Or migrate to the other.

HOW TO SATURDAY

Well, that weekend was exhausting. The Rolling Stones packed out Adelaide Oval for their once in a lifetime concert, Rymill Park was filled with people inducing their dairy based food comas at Cheesefest and Gotye led a stream of people on a march through the city in the name of equality.

I didn’t do any of the above.

Instead, I spent a total of 17 hours on Saturday with a bunch of girlfriends; treading the pavement, eating lots of food, drinking too much wine and showing off my favourite spots in the city.
