One of the things I’m most grateful for about living in the city is my close proximity to the Adelaide Central Market. I’ve written about my undying love for the markets previously so no need to rehash the past, but if we want to summarise – I bloody love the place and one of my favourite aspects is the abundance of Asian grocers in and around it.

Head west along Gouger street, get to Krispy Kreme and keep walking (no seriously, keep walking). In a few steps you’ll come across a set of red curtains billowing out from a doorway onto the street. Whatever is hiding behind you may be wondering? Ah, the mystery! Oh, the intrigue!

I have a confession to make.
Look, it’s not something I’m proud of and I’m fully prepared to feel the weight of your judging eyes upon me.
It took me 6 months to try Little NNQ on Gouger Street….

Well, that weekend was exhausting. The Rolling Stones packed out Adelaide Oval for their once in a lifetime concert, Rymill Park was filled with people inducing their dairy based food comas at Cheesefest and Gotye led a stream of people on a march through the city in the name of equality.
I didn’t do any of the above.
Instead, I spent a total of 17 hours on Saturday with a bunch of girlfriends; treading the pavement, eating lots of food, drinking too much wine and showing off my favourite spots in the city.
